Hats are making a come back

There was a time when everyone wore a hat. Men, women, and children, you didn't leave your home without a hat.

Today, we constantly hear about protecting our skin from the harmful rays of the sun, we lather ourselves with sunscreen, but we some times forget to protect our heads. Even during the winter months, we should be wearing hats to protect ourselves from, not only the cold, but from the sun.

We can protect our heads and look great too! Have you noticed the number of actors and actresses that are wearing hats now? Fashion ads usually have at least one or more models wearing hats. Not baseball caps but fashionable, classy, well-made hats.

"I don't look good in hats."

That's not really true. There are hundreds of different styles of hats, you just have to find the right one for you. If you don't know what looks good on you, take a few minutes to try some on the next time you go to the mall most stores carry hats now.

Consignment shops, second hand shops, thrift stores and antique shops have oodles of hats, have fun and try them all on. Don't just jam them on, tilt them from side to side, even the way you wear your hat can make all the difference. You'll find the right style for you!
